Charles T. "Tom" Bunch

<p>Charles Thomas “Tom” Bunch, 83, passed away to his heavenly home Monday, November 14, 2022, after a brief illness.&nbsp;&nbsp;He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Eliza Bunch; sister Virginia Whitehead; and nephew Steve Pease.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>Tom is survived by his wife Joyce Bunch; nieces Connie Pease and Gloria (Jared) Hurst; nephew Gary (Donna) Pease; and a wonderful family of friends. </p><p>He was a deacon at Morningside Baptist Church,&nbsp;&nbsp;and retired from the Morristown Rescue Squad after 25 years of service.&nbsp;&nbsp;Tom was a member of the Gideons International of Hamblen County.&nbsp;&nbsp;He looked forward to going to work every day with his friends at the Cabinet Shop, and his friend Jim White. </p><p>The family will receive friends 4-7 pm Thursday, November 17,2022 at Morningside Baptist Church.&nbsp;&nbsp;The funeral service will follow at 7 pm, with Rev. Ross Woody and Rev. Dr. Kenny Boling officiating.&nbsp;&nbsp;Interment will be 11 am Friday, November 18, 2022&nbsp;in Hamblen Memory Gardens. </p><p>In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Morningside Baptist Church Building Fund.&nbsp;&nbsp;Allen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. </p>
