<p>Nancy K. Wachowiak, age 79, of Stevens Point, WI, died peacefully at home while surrounded by her family on November 13, 2022.</p><p><br></p><p>Nancy was born on August 4, 1943 to the late Joseph &amp; Theresa (Frydach) Wachowiak in Stevens Point. She grew up in the area, attended St. Stanislaus Catholic Grade School and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1961.</p><p><br></p><p>She worked for Worzalla Publishing, Sentry Insurance, and UW-Stevens Point as an administrative assistant (under 4 Deans of Science) and retired in 2003.</p><p><br></p><p>Nancy will be remembered for her loving and caring nature. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, church picnics, bingo, going to concerts, and testing her luck at the casino. She relished time with family and friends and enjoyed collecting pig related items. In her healthier years, she enjoyed fishing with her fiancé.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by fiancé, Jim Lodzinski; siblings, Sr. Joanne Wachowiak and Dennis (Penny) Wachowiak; nieces and nephews, including Jennifer (Andy) Wilkinson, Laura (Patrick) Goggins, and Jason (Chante) Wachowiak; many great nieces and nephews; and extended family.<br></p><p><br></p><p>She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph &amp; Theresa Wachowiak; brother, Joseph Wachowiak Jr.; sister, Sandi Krutza; sister-in-law, Kathy Wachowiak; and brother-in-law, Richard Krutza.<br></p><p><br></p><p>A Funeral Mass with Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Holy Spirit Catholic Parish with Rev. Steve Brice presiding. A time of visitation will precede at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Traditional burial will follow in Guardian Angel Cemetery.<br></p>
