<p>Funeral service for Mrs. Mary L. Cooper, 67, of Oxford will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. Pastor Skip Snelling will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Anniston Memorial Gardens.</p><p>Mrs. Cooper passed away at her home in Oxford surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Howard Smith and Lydia Moreland Smith; granddaughter, Autumn Cheyanne Spurling; and two brothers, Howard Ray Smith and Walter Lee Smith.</p><p>She leaves behind her loving husband of 48 wonderful years, Ricky Cooper; and their daughter, Patricia Cooper; and several nieces and nephews.</p><p>Mary Cooper was a considerate mother to many. She was loved by many and will be missed by so many more. She loved to read the Bible and listen to gospel music. She loved her family very much.</p><p>The Cooper family would like to give a special thank you to Southern Care New Beacon Hospice for their love and continued support. They will never forget the compassion and kindness that was shown to Mrs. Cooper and their family.</p><p><br></p>
