She was born in Arkansas City, KS and adopted by her amazing parents Herman and Bertha Beu of Moline, KS. She was born on October 8, 1927, but celebrated her birthday on October 23rd. Pee Wee grew up and attended school in Moline. When enrolling in beautician school she got her birth certificate and found out her actual birthday was October 8th. After high school she became a beautician working in a beauty shop in Moline and Kansas City, KS. She also worked at Mobile Oil and then cleaned houses until age 85. She met and married the love of her life Raymond E Pierce, Sr on November 24, 1950. Pee Wee became a widow at the young age of 48 and never remarried. Her and Raymond had 4 children, James, Jeffery, Shelia and Raymond, Jr.

In addition to her husband Raymond, Pee Wee was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Jeff Pierce, a grandson, Jason Pierce, and two great grandsons, William and Hudson Cunningham.

She is survived by her children, Jim (Sue) Pierce, Shelia (David) Wheeler, Raymond Pierce, Jr. Grandchildren, Amanda (Mark), Josh (Amanda), Jacob, Sally (Tyler), Matt, Sara (Chris) and many great grandchildren, Caden, Betsey, Zack, Jason, Toby, Ben, Megan, Madison, Mikayla, Ava, Jenna, Trevor, Ella, Audrey, Shane, Haley, Zoe, Cassidy, Mackenzie, Carson, and Lizzie.

Pee Wee was a wonderful mom, grandma and friend. To us she was the absolute sweetest. She had such a loving kind heart, if you knew her you loved her. She genuinely loved, cared, worried and prayed for all her loved ones. We will miss our long phone conversations…. Remembering her famous saying “now don’t tell anyone”.

We feel so fortunate for the time we had with Pee Wee, and she will be so deeply missed by all.
