N. Irene Burt, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away Sunday, November 13th, 2022, at the age of 93. Irene was a proud, tender-hearted person who loved her family and friends dearly. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gale; sister, Harriet; and brother, Edward. Irene is survived by her three daughters: Roxanne and Terry Arman, of VT, Christine and Danny Resavage, Bernadette and Tom Gordon, of Elmira; grandchildren, Casey Arman, Bryan (Katie) Resavage, Amy Gordon (Jordan Pineda), Andrew Gordon, and Jenna Gordon; great-grandchildren, Alexis Resavage, Chloe Resavage, Oliver Arman, and Bryan Resavage. She worked for many years at Chuck Clark’s Restaurant and Gerould’s Deli in Horseheads. Having loved her customers, whenever she’d bump into them, they always greeted her with a big hug and smile. Irene was a loving, kind and caring person who never let anyone leave without saying, “Come again when you can stay a while.” “Mom, you had a wonderful life.
