<p>Lisa (Elizabeth) M. Linder</p><p>10/10/1926 – 11/12/2022</p><p>Lisa Linder of Thornwood, NY passed away peacefully at her home on November 12, 2022 with her family by her side. She was born in Altotting, Bavaria in Germany to Otto and Maria (Stiller) Mitterpleininger. She emigrated to the United States in 1952 and was married to Eric Gunnar Linder for 50 years before his passing in 2004. </p><p>Lisa was dedicated to others and held herself with dignity and grace. The love she shared with not only her husband but her entire family was a testament to the kindness of her soul.</p><p>She worked for IBM in Armonk, NY for over 20 years, was an avid swimmer and golfer, and a gracious hostess for family gatherings. She was a member of the Bavarian Club Edelweiss of Westchester for 50 years participating with their folk dance group. Lisa will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing such a kind, sweet and beautiful lady.</p><p>She is predeceased by her three sisters, Edith Eisen of Wiesbaden, Germany; Irmengard Laws of Oak Harbor, WA and Erna Dorfner of Burghausen, Germany.</p><p>Lisa is survived by her loving children, Norman Linder (Shari) and Sonya Silidjian (Eric); her grandchildren, Thomas Linder (Amanda), Kristen Linder Berretta (Jordan) and Patrick Linder (Camila); as well as her great-granddaughters; Riley Berretta, Ruby Berretta and Madeline Linder.</p><p>In lieu of flowers, please donate to:</p><p>Rosary Hill Home</p><p>600 Linda Avenue</p><p>Hawthorne, NY 10532</p>Obituary
