William "Bill" Reinhart

<p>William M. (Bill) Reinhart, 76, on November 3, 2022, passed away peacefully at his home in Virginia Beach, VA, after a courageous, multiyear battle with prostate cancer. He was formerly of Ambler, PA.</p><p><br></p><p>He was born on February 28, 1946, in Orange, N.J., the eldest son of William H. and Elizabeth (Bradley) Reinhart.</p><p><br></p><p>Bill graduated from Madison H.S. (N.J.) and Bucknell University. As a member of the class of 1968, he served as President of his senior class, was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity, and was elected to the prestigious Omicron Delta Kappa honor society. He then attended Temple University School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in 1972.</p><p><br></p><p>He retired from the U.S. Federal Government in Philadelphia in 2009 after 35 years. He worked in the Office of the General Counsel, Civil Rights division. He was a beloved colleague and a special friend to all who knew him.</p><p><br></p><p>Bill led a very full life, never letting the moss grow under his feet. Bill raised three wonderful sons, And traveled extensively, visiting 46 of the 50 United States, as well as traveling to Europe and South America. He made several trips to the Southwest states and hiked with his high school friends across various areas of the country. He was an accomplished pianist who enjoyed hiking, tennis, baseball, and sunsets on the beach. He could always be found with a book in his hands. He was a dedicated New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies fan.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen (Stoney), sons Steven (Katharine), Scott (Kumiko), and James (Danielle), stepdaughter Jennifer Geary, stepson Brian (Jessica) Geary, brother Randy (MaryLou Newnam), and former wife Donna (Karam). Additionally, he was a beloved Grandpa to Colin Reinhart, Hayato Nishiyama-Reinhart, Nash Reinhart, Lucca Reinhart, Charlie Boyce, Ryan Boyce, and Michael Geary. He also leaves behind many close friends and many extended members of the Stoney family.</p><p><br></p><p>In keeping with his wishes, Bill was cremated through the Hollomon Brown Funeral Home, Virginia Beach, VA.</p><p><br></p><p>Relatives and Friends are invited to greet his family after 9:00 AM on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, PA 19002 Bill's Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 AM with Rev.
