<p>Passed peacefully away on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Chancellor Park. Robert John Carew age 75 years.</p><p><br></p><p>Predeceased by his parents: Stanley and Margaret Carew.</p><p><br></p><p>Leaving to mourn with cherished memories his devoted wife of 46 years Sharron (nee Norman); his loving daughter Ashlee (Andrew) Hicks; precious grandchildren: Mackenzie and Kai Hicks; sisters: Barbara Wilkins, Rosemary (Rick) Able, Marjorie (Ken) Walsh and Lois Craig; brothers-in-law: Tony (Denise) and Noel Norman. Also, neighbours, nieces, nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Bob was a devoted member of St. Peter’s Parish Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was active in his community including participating in various sports as well as volunteering with Teachers on Wheels and the food bank.</p><p><br></p><p>We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you the doctors, nurses and all the staff on Chancellor Park for your compassion and care over the last year.</p><p><br></p><p>At Bob’s request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave. on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 2:00 -4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 10:30 am from St. Peter’s Parish. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p>Donations may be made in Bob’s memory to St. Peter’s Food Bank,&nbsp;https://ssvp.ca/make-a-donation/</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
