<p>Exeter, NH</p><p></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Daniel S. Davis, 79, of Exeter, passed away November 7, 2022 after a courageous short battle with lung cancer. Dan was born June 6, 1943, in South Berwick Maine to Daniel McDonald Davis and Anne Shaw Davis. Dan graduated from Exeter High School class of 1962. He joined the army in 1964 and was sent to Vietnam, proudly serving his country until 1966. He was bestowed with the Purple Heart. He operated and owned Dan Davis auto body in Exeter. In 1988 he sold the business and retired to his love of farming, raising Angus cattle with his Darren on Little Brook Farm. He was a member of the New England Angus Association, the Star in the East Masonic Lodge #59, the East Coast Tractor Club, and the Rockingham Conservation Committee. He leaves his loving wife, June Carlisle Davis of 55 year; Sons, Michael Shaw Davis of Exeter, NH, Darren Daniel Davis of Newfields, NH; one grandchild, Hope Anne Davis; sister, Sandra King of Stratham NH; many nieces and nephews; and his dog Cha Cha, his constant companion.</p><p></p><p>He was predeceased by sister Bette Seavey of Florida.</p><p><br></p><p>As Dan’s request, there will be no funeral.
