Eva Lou Harman Obituary

Eva Lou Harman, 82, of Accident, MD, died Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at her residence.


Born October 6, 1940, in Guard, MD, she was the daughter of the late Frederick August and Evelyn Hazel (Humbertson) Holliday.


Mrs. Harman was a librarian for the Ruth Enlow Library, Accident Branch and also worked for H & H Hardware Store, Grantsville, MD. She was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church, LCMS, Cove Homemakers and Children’s Library Association. She was also a member of the Women’s Missionary League at St. John’s Lutheran Church and Zion Lutheran Church.


She is survived by her husband, Oscar Randall Harman, Sr.; two sons, Mark F. (Elaine) Harman and Oscar Randall (Renita) Harman, Jr., all of Accident; one brother, Frederick A. (Joan) Holliday, I, Grantsville, MD; two grandsons, Calvin R. Harman and George D. Harman.


Friends will be received at St. John’s Lutheran Church, LCMS, Accident, MD, on Friday, November 11, 2022, from 1-2 p.m. Funeral services will follow in the church at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Benjamin Hertel officiating. Interment will be in the St. John’s Cemetery.
