Jimmy William Ross, MD.,Ph.D
<p>We are sad to announce the passing of Jimmy William Ross, MD., Ph.D son of Marjorie Marie Ross and George William Ross. He lived a fruitful 80 years of life, born October 1st, 1942 in King City California. Passed away Sunday, 6, 2022.</p><p><br></p><p>On September 1st, 1962, Jim married his high school sweetheart Susan Nelia Ross, formerly Susan Nelia Prewett.</p><p><br></p><p>He was survived by wife Susan Nelia Ross, his two children Steven Greg Ross and Michelle Nicole Ross, grandchildren and great grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Jim received his Undergraduate Degree from Baylor University in 1965, his Ph.D in Anatomy at the Brain Research Institute and subsequently MD at The University of California, Los Angeles. After having completed his residency at UCLA Harbor General Hospital, Jim went on to open his practice for Obstetrics and Gynecology Colposcopy and Infertility Female Urology at Salinas Valley Medical Building, 1976. After a life-long career in Medicine, where he helped with countless deliveries in the community, he retired in 2017 at the age of 75.</p><p><br></p><p>Jim was beloved by his family, friends, and community, and was admired by his children and grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>Jim’s lifelong ambition was aimed at the betterment of his community and peers, by way of Medicine. His last wishes are that the community continue to support one another, and therefore ask, in lieu of flowers, to donate to the Brain Research Institute of UCLA, at www.bri.ucla.edu/give/ .</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be held 2:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. Friday, November 11, 2022, Struve and Laporte Chapel, 41 W.
