Aberdeen - Mimi Frances Manning, 89, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday November 6, 2022 surrounded by family.

Mrs. Manning was born September 11, 1933 in Fleming County to the late Dorman and Margaret Dillon Castle. She was retired from Manchester School where she taught Reading Recovery.

Survivors include her son, Gerald Manning, of Aberdeen; granddaughters, Crystal (Craig) King and Cassandra (Luc) Patterson; great-granddaughters, Ariel and Willow King and Iris and Ivy Patterson; brothers James (Carol) Castle, Charles Castle and Homer (Kathy) Castle; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, C.M. Manning; son, James Manning; and sister-in-law, Garnetta Castle.

Services for Frances Manning will be held at 1 p.m., Friday November 11, 2022 at Brell & Son Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Charter Oak Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday.
