Joseph Samuel Deebo, age 70, of Selbyville died Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at home. Joe was born in Washington, DC and was the son of the late Edward and Margaret (Waian) Deebo. He was a retired firefighter from Montgomery County and was a member of Fenwick Island Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Sherry L. Deebo; two daughters, Kimberly Barton (Allan) of Smithsburg, MD and Cathi Burnette of Fenwick Island, three grandchildren, Ashley Vigrass, Kayla Vigrass and Evelyn Williams; three great-grandchildren, Reed Morgan, Declan Hilderbrand and Jasek Davis. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 28 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Bishop-Hastings Funeral Home, 19 S. Main Street in Selbyville. Due to restrictions surrounding COVID-19, masks and social distancing will be mandatory. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Fenwick Island Baptist Church, Building Fund, 36806 Lighthouse Road, Selbyville, DE. 19975. .
