Anne Cook Obituary

With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Anne Cook (nee Crowe), aged 79. Anne was surrounded by the love of her family as she peacefully departed. She and her loving husband, Ron, were in their 60th year of marriage. She is also survived by her 3 daughters: Shannon Richardson (Tom), Anjanette MacTavish (Neil) and Melissa Warkentin (Greg). Anne loved being Grandma to Emily (Kyle), Kyle (Erin), Laura, Lily, and Ella, step-Grandma to Katie (BJ), Kelly (Darryl), Meara and Elgin, and was elated to become “Plain Old Grandma” to great grandson, Kieran.

She was born February 10, 1943, in Chatham to parents, Arthur and Ivy Crowe, is survived by her sister, Janice, and pre-deceased by her sister, Margie. She will also be missed by sisters- and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Bob, Bruce, and Dana. She was a devoted friend to many. Anne loved baking, knitting, sewing and watercolour painting.

As per her wishes, Anne will be cremated, and a memorial will follow in December. In her memory, donations can be made to The Terry Fox Foundation.
