<p>SENDELBACH, James P. “Jim” age 90 of Brookville, formerly of Butler Township, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022 at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton. He – with the help of a dedicated team at The James Cancer Center at OSU – was proud to be a ten year lung cancer survivor.</p><p><br></p><p>Jim was a 1950 graduate of Chaminade High School and served his country in the US Army. He retired after a long and dedicated career at Machine Products Corporation. Post-retirement, he enjoyed international and domestic travel and refurbished aircraft as a volunteer at the Air Force Museum. Jim was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church.</p><p><br></p><p>He is preceded in death by a son Mark W. Sendelbach, and a son-in-law, Tom Fuller. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 69 years Joan (Herby) Sendelbach, 2 daughters Linda (Rob) Tomlinson, Kathy (Jim) Williamson, son Tim Sendelbach, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. </p><p><br></p><p>Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Thursday, November 10, 2022 at St. Christopher Catholic Church 435 E. National Rd., Vandalia, Ohio 45377 by Father Andrew Smith. Interment immediately following Mass at Arlington Cemetery, Brookville OH. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The James Cancer Hospital at OSU (www.cancer.osu.edu), Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (www.jdrf.org) or the Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton (www.ohioshospice.org) in Jim’s memory.
