Charles A. Harrold, age 88, of West Manchester Township, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2022 at UPMC Memorial in York. He was the loving husband of JoAnn L. (Nace) Harrold; together they shared 65 years of marriage.

Charles was born in Spring Grove on March 17, 1934 and was the son of the late Elmer and Edith (Trimmer) Harrold. He graduated from Spring Grove Area High School Class of 1952 and proudly served his country in the United States Army. Charles worked for Sears for many years prior to retiring and was a founding member of the Spring Grove Area Historical and Preservation Society, a member of the F&AM of York, the Spring Grove Alumni Chorus, and Trinity (Roth’s) United Church of Christ in Spring Grove. He was also naturally artistic and enjoyed drawing.

Charles was preceded in death by his brother Ray Kuhn.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Charles’ Graveside Service on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 1:00PM at Trinity (Roth’s) Church Cemetery, 6417 Church Rd., Spring Grove, PA 17362 with Rev. Ron Heagy officiating. Funeral services are under the direction of Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of Spring Grove.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Charles memory may be made to Trinity (Roth’s) U.C.C., 6417 Church Rd., Spring Grove, PA 17362.
