<p>Emily A. Brasmeister, 48, of Amsterdam, NY passed away suddenly on November 2, 2022. </p><p><br></p><p>Born October 21, 1974, to Anthony and Barbara (Fordham) Schotts, Emily attended local schools and graduated from Herkimer County Community College, with her Associate’s degree. She worked as a Mortgage Loan Officer for NBT Bank but was a proud caretaker of her children and home. Emily loved reading, photography, and spending countless hours shopping. </p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her mother Barbara Schotts; sons Anthony Brasmeister, Nicholas Brasmeister and Tyler Korona; significant other Paul Korona; brothers Robert (Margaret) Youngs and James Youngs (Lorraine Delcostello); stepsister Barbara (Eddie) Hume; brother-in-law Rick Husted; sister-in-law Joann Youngs; loving cat Roxy; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. </p><p><br></p><p>She was predeceased by her father Anthony Schotts, brother Richard Youngs, and sister Lisa Husted. </p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements have been entrusted to Betz, Rossi &amp; Bellinger Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010. At the request of the family services are private. </p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in honor of Emily to the ASPCA by mail to PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929 or click here to donate online .</p>
