Donald Earl Sigmon, 91, of Charleston, died Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at CAMC Memorial, Charleston. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Lena Sigmon; sons, Victor and Clark Sigmon; sister, Patsy Ann Harold.
He was a long-time owner/operator of Sigmon Appliance Service. Charleston and was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. Donald was a former baseball coach and umpire for the Charleston-Western Little League and also a coach for Little League football. He was a member of the Greater Charleston USBC for 30 years where he was also a member of the Hall of Fame.
Surviving, sister, Nancy Martinez; granddaughter, April Sigmon; grandson, Chance Sigmon; great-granddaughter, Maeona Terry; daughter-in-law and caregiver, Lucille Sigmon.
Service will be 1:00 PM Monday at Bollinger Funeral Home, Charleston. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
