Mitchel R. DeMaree

<p>Mitchel R. DeMaree “Mitch”, age 79, long-term resident of Kensington, NH, died October 31, 2022. He was born September 3, 1943 in Orange, CA, son of the late Scott R. DeMaree and Ruby E. (Street) DeMaree.</p><p><br></p><p>Mitch grew up in Chula Vista, CA and was one of three children in his family. He enlisted into the US Marine Corps in 1961. He was stationed in the US, Philippines and Okinawa until his honorable discharge in 1966.</p><p><br></p><p>Mitch worked for H.P. Hood in Charlestown, MA as a milkman and then held many manufacturing jobs before ending his career as a school bus driver.</p><p><br></p><p>Mitch was a member of the American Legion Post 105 in Kensington, NH and the Good Sam RV Group. He enjoyed traveling in his RV, gold panning on the Wild Ammanoosuc River and tending to his garden.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his twin brother, Michael DeMaree and his sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Haynes.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra(Peterson) DeMaree, daughter, Bonnie DeMaree, daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Ernie, their children, Dan and Jenna, daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Scott Clark and their daughter, Abby, and several nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>There are no calling hours.</p><p><br></p><p>A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 9:00 AM at the First Congregational Church, 108 Amesbury Rd., Kensington, NH.</p><p><br></p><p>Burial with military honors will follow in the Village Cemetery, Kensington, NH.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the charity of one’s choice.</p>
