ALLEN, Janet Marie. – of Fenton, age 75, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 14, 2017 at her residence with family by her side. Funeral services will be held 2PM Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1-8PM and Thursday from 12PM until the time of service at 2PM. Contributions may be made to Adopt-A-Pet of Fenton. Janet was born February 12, 1941 in Saginaw, Michigan to John Arthur and Vera Lily (Warnemuende) Schlader. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1959. Janet married Willard Lee Allen May 21, 1960 at Grace Lutheran Church in Saginaw. She was a Girl Scout Troop Leader and Den Mother for many years. Janet enjoyed bowling and baking. She was an avid reader and writer. Surviving are: Husband, Willard Lee Allen of Fenton; Son, Willard James (Anne) Allen of Saginaw; Daughter, Kathrine (Todd) Wilkinson of Fenton; Grandchildren: Sarah Allen, Kaiti Allen, Alexandra Wilkinson, and Jessica Allen; Great granddaughter, Remmi Muladore; Mother, Vera Lily Schlader; Brother, John (Andrea) Schlader; Brothers-in-law: Robert (Linda) Allen, and Clifford (Pam) Allen; Loving furry companion, Sophie.
