<p>Shena Denene Ray Guidry passed away suddenly at her home in Pearl River, Louisiana, on Friday, October 28, 2022, at the age of 52. She was born on January 27, 1970, to her loving parents, the late Nell Deweese Ray and John William “J.W.” Ray. Shena is the beloved wife of Cedric “C.J.” Guidry of Pearl River, Louisiana; cherished mother of Courtney Rogers (Josh) of Starkville, Mississippi; and treasured sister of Gaylon Ray of Galveston, Texas, John Ray (Angie) of Santa Fe, Texas, David Ray (Jill) of Philadelphia, Mississippi, Shari Flake (Tim) of Louisville, Mississippi, and Shana Black (Rome) of Philadelphia, Mississippi. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends whom she loved deeply.</p><p><br></p><p>Although Shena was born in Galveston, Texas, she spent most of her life in Mississippi until moving to Louisiana to be with her devoted husband, C.J. She will fondly be remembered as a delight to be around and someone who could make anyone smile.
