<p>It is with great sadness that the family of Joann Rachel Jordan announced her passing on October 20, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with heart problems. </p><p>Left to treasure her memory are her devoted and loving life partner, Kenny; her much loved son, TJ and her dear “daughter,” Ashley; her cherished Aunt Jodi, Uncle Ricky, and Uncle Jay; her dear sister, Nicole; and her life-long friend, Kathleen. Joann was predeceased by her parents, Leah and George and by her beloved grandparents, George and Jeannie, who lovingly raised Joann after her parents’ passing. </p><p>Joann loved her feline fur babies, Gizmo, Socks, and Biggie Boy, and gave them a playful and loving home. She was an avid reader and enjoyed looking at sunsets and watching nostalgic old movies. Joann was a very strong-willed person, as evidenced by her lengthy medical struggles and refusal to give up. She was a very giving and caring person, who will be missed by all of those who were lucky enough to be part of her life. </p><p>Visitation will be held in the chapel of Bagnell and Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, Louisiana at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 1, 2022, followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM,.
