Granny Loyce (96) was born in Lilburn, GA August 29, 1926 to Charlie and  Myrtice (Moore) Minor.  She went to be with her  Heavenly Father  Monday, October 31, 2022.  

Funeral Services will be held at Bill Head Funeral Home Duluth Chapel at 12:00, Thursday, November 3, officiated by Rev. Lamar Hansard. Interment following at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Duluth.

Granny Loyce was preceded in death by her husband Ed Braswell,  parents, brothers Grady (Velma), Harold (Willie), sister Frances (Clarence), son Wayne,  daughter-in-law Janis,  grandson Brent, and granddaughter Angel.  She was also preceded in death by her step children Truell, Larry, Evelyn, and Carrie. She is survived by her sons James Anglin (Brenda) of  Lawrenceville and Stanley Anglin of Duluth,  several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and friends. Granny Loyce had many jobs throughout her 96 years.  She worked at Sears Roebuck, Scientific Atlanta, and Gwinnett County School System as a lunchroom lady until she was around 85 years old. The job that she was best known for was being THE FROSTY BAR LADY in Duluth, where they served the BEST milkshakes in the state of GA.

Granny Loyce loved her family and she loved the LORD.  She was a faithful member of Duluth Church of God and Buford

Church of God.  The last several years of her life she lived at Country Gardens Assisted Living in Duluth.  We were told by the

former management/staff that whenever any  of the residents and/or employees there needed someone to pray for them they

would go to GRANNY and ask her to pray with/for them. 

The family will receive friends at Bill Head Funeral Home Duluth Chapel, Thursday, November 3 , 10:00-12:00, prior to  the

Funeral at 12:00.
