<p>Age 89 of Rives Township, was called to his Heavenly Home on October 29, 2022.&nbsp; Edward “Bill” was born on Wednesday, March 1, 1933 in Canora, Saskatchewan, Canada to the late Clarence R. and Estelle (Reid) Berry. &nbsp; </p><p>He is survived by three children; Barbara (Steve) VanEpps, Michael (Kim) Berry and Robert (Darcy) Berry, grandchildren; Janelle Summerill, Derek Treacher, Tyler (Brianna) Berry, Morgan (Evan) Wills, Ashley Berry, Taylor (Patrick) O’Reilly and Brock Berry, great-grandchildren; Teegan Summerill, Waverly Summerill, Addison O’Reilly, Holly Branchaud and Blakely Berry, brother; Roy (Audrey) Berry.&nbsp; Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife; E. Carol (maiden-Arnold) Berry in 2004 and his sister; Patricia Reeves. </p><p>Bill spent his early years in Saskatchewan before moving to Vancouver, British Columbia.&nbsp; He was a licensed pilot in his early twenties and later worked at National Cash Register (NCR) as a technician.&nbsp; In 1956 he traveled to Dayton, Ohio for technical training where he met his future wife, Carol.&nbsp; After several months of dating they married on May 11, 1956, in Middletown, Ohio and they moved to Vancouver, British Columbia.&nbsp; Sixteen years later Bill and his family crossed the US/Canada border, and he started a new career in Jackson, MI.&nbsp; Bill enjoyed playing golf, boating and fishing. </p><p>Services will be held at the Arthur-Day Funeral home on Wednesday November 2, 2022 at 11:00 am&nbsp; with Rev. Bart Hall, Chaplain Henry Ford Hospice Home officiating.&nbsp;He will be interred next to his wife at Oak Grove Cemetery, Napoleon.&nbsp; The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time.&nbsp; The family wishes to thank Henry Ford Hospice Home for their compassionate and professional care of father and grandfather.&nbsp; Contributions in his memory and to honor his late wife can be made to the Michael J Fox Parkinson’s Research Foundation (PO Box 5014, Hagerstown, Maryland 21741). </p>
