Edwina Bernadette Harris
<p>Edwina Harris was born on Saturday, Sept. 5,1925, in San Francisco, CA, and passed peacefully on Thursday, Oct 27th, 2022 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Martha and John Prewitt, her loving caregivers for the past 5 years, in Quitman AR.</p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert E Higuera, and Madge D Sanders and</p><p>by her adoptive parents, paternal Uncle and Aunt, Joseph and Gracier Enos.</p><p><br></p><p>She grew up in San Francisco, San Luis Obispo (SLO), and Oakland CA.</p><p>Edwina was educated in a nearby Catholic school and graduated 12th grade. She was even advanced a year, something she was proud of, but always mystified her!</p><p><br></p><p>Edwina was predeceased by former husbands, Clarence E McNeil and Charles R Harris.</p><p>She is survived by former husband, and father of her 4 children, George M Saiz Sr.</p><p><br></p><p>Left to mourn our loss, and all the ways she so loved us all:</p><p><br></p><p>Children: Linda Bartram (John Frank) Seattle WA, Martha Prewitt (John) Quitman AR, Michael Saiz (Nancy) Prescott Valley AZ, George M Saiz, Jr (Suzette) Carlsbad CA.</p><p><br></p><p>Grand Children: Barbara Carter (Rob), Malinda Michael, Debra Ray, Tracie Michael (Danny Samarjian), James Michael (Erin), Lisa Lawrie (Mike), Shanyn Loughridge (Frank), Mike Saiz (Clarissa), Jordan Saiz, Garrett Saiz.</p><p><br></p><p>21 Great Grandchildren, 13 Great Great Grandchildren</p><p><br></p><p>The family will receive friends at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro on Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The funeral will be Friday, November 4th at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Beaty Funeral Home with burial to follow at Smyrna Cemetery.
