Rockport, IN- John E. Anderson Sr., 71 years old, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022 at his home in Rockport, Indiana.

Eddie is preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Verlin Anderson; his brothers, William Anderson and Buford Anderson; and his grandson, Jeffrey R. Neese.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Catheryn Anderson; his children, John E. Anderson Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth, of Columbia MO; and Christina Ward and her husband, Michael of Moore, OK; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; his sisters, Imagene Kittrell and her husband, Curtis, of Big Spring, TX; Carlin Houx of Peoria, AZ; Virginia Medina and her husband, Richard, of Prescott Valley, AZ; Sinda Fischer and her husband, Michael, of Tolleson, AZ; and Linda Moseley and her husband, Daniel, of Rockport, IN; his brother, James L. Anderson and his wife, Sandy, of Tombstone, AZ; thirty nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 29, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Rockport, Indiana. Interment will take place at a later date in the Veterans National Cemetery in Lebanon, Kentucky.
