<p>Arlis Kay Carter, age 73, of Elizabethtown, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehabilitation. </p><p>&nbsp; </p><p>She could spot the beauty in everything and loved collecting rocks, baseball, softball and God, but most of all she loved spending time with her family </p><p>&nbsp; </p><p>She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Carter; her parents, Bertrand and Reba Avitt Nevitt; two sisters, Joyce Peterson and Deidra Craig and four brothers, Norman Nevitt, Randall Nevitt, Cary Nevitt and Rex Nevitt. </p><p>&nbsp; </p><p>She is survived a daughter, Leah Peters of Elizabethtown; three sons, Steven Carter of Lexington and Andrew “Andy"&nbsp;(Alison)&nbsp;Carter and Brett Carter both of Hodgenville; three sisters, Marlene Madrid and Andrea Stivers both of Elizabethtown, Mavis Robles of Louisville; two brothers, Clayton Nevitt of Union Star and Reid Nevitt of Louisville; eight grandchildren, Josh (Brandi) Carter, Kayla&nbsp;(Opie) Nevills, Kobe Peters, Emma Carter, Ella Carter, Elijah Carter, Aven Carter and Ruby Kay Carter and ten Great-grandchildren. </p><p>&nbsp; </p><p>A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 1, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Brian Wood officiating. </p><p>&nbsp; </p><p>Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. </p><p>&nbsp; </p><p>&nbsp; </p><p>&nbsp; </p>
