It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Joyce Motheral on October 26th 2022, in her 96th year. She was in palliative care at Brantford General with her daughter by her side.

Beloved wife of the late Ward Motheral for 68 years. Loving mother of Gloria Giesbrecht (John). Much loved aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Joyce is survived by her brother, Sonny Markle. She is predeceased by her sisters Irma Byers, Ruby Berrisford, Dorothy Van Sickle, Shirley Peters and Norma Belisle.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Ayr Chapel, Wm Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland St. Ayr on Friday November 4th from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the same location in the funeral home Chapel on Saturday November 5th at 11:00 am. Interment at Drumbo Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Drumbo Agricultural Hall.

In lieu of flowers, Joyce requested donations go to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
