Neil T. Brohmer

<p>Neil Brohmer, age 67 of Tomah, Wisconsin passed away on 10-25-2022 at Gunderson Health Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He was born September 28th, 1955, to Clarence and Helen (Scott) Brohmer of Tomah, Wisconsin. He graduated from Tomah High School in 1973 and began working at USEMCO in 1974. Neil was employed by USEMCO for 48 years and was still working there at the time of his death. Neil enjoyed spending time with family and friends. When he was younger, he enjoyed playing softball and golf. He was an avid walker too and would log at least 5 miles every day for many years.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by seven brothers and sisters: Curt (Michele) Brohmer of Union Grove, Wisconsin, Mary (John) Libke of Lansing, Iowa, Lee Judd of Gurnee, Illinois, Diana (Dave) Wampole of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, Stephen (Trudi) Brohmer of Tomah, Wisconsin, Michael (Maureen) Brohmer of La Crosse, Julie Brohmer of La Crosse Wisconsin, brother-in-law Byron Hayter of Newfoundland, Canada, 18 nieces and nephews and many great and great great nieces and nephews.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen of Tomah, sister Barbara (Byron) Hayter of Newfoundland, Canada, brother-in-law Robert Judd of Gurnee, Illinois and niece Julianna Judd of Gurnee, Illinois.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Neil considered his many friends and co-workers at USEMCO as his family too. He loved his job and looked forward to going to work every day. He hoped that he would have been able to return to work but that was not to be. We are grateful to everyone there for their visits to him in the hospital, the caring, compassion and support they provided during this difficult time.</p><p><br></p><p>Neil requested a private family burial with no visitation or funeral service. He also requested that any memorials be given to Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the American Cancer Society.</p><p><br></p><p>The Torkelson Funeral Home of Tomah is assisting the family with arrangements.&nbsp; Online condolences may be offered at www.torkelsonfuneralhome.com</p>
