Mary passed away on October 26, 2022 at Grandview Lodge in her 103rd year. Beloved mother of Dale Carpenter (Late Paul) and Dianne and Roy Graham. She will be sadly missed by her four grandchildren Beth and Tom Braidwood, Dave and Lisa Graham, Deirdre and Chris Altmayer and Stephanie Carpenter and Garnet Slater. Mary is also lovingly survived by eight great grandchildren Tommy, Jessy, Luke, Sara, Matt, Sarah, Lauren and Declan. She is fondly remembered by her nieces Lynn Lawrie, Leah Clark and Laura Scott and her nephew Norm Scott. Mary was preceded by her brothers Arthur Scott and Wes Scott. Mary had a lifelong love of teaching, starting her career in 1938 in Stromness, and retiring from Dunnville Senior Public School. She was a life member of Grace United Church. A private graveside service will be held. We are thankful for the wonderful, compassionate care Mom received from the staff at Grandview Lodge.
