Donna M. Hildreth, 75, of Cranbury, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Camden, Donna was a graduate of Willingboro High School and later received a Master’s degree in English from Rutgers University. For many years. Donna resided in Edison before moving to Cranbury upon her retirement. In 1968, Donna joined Legal Services of New Jersey where she was employed as a Training Coordinator for over 40 years until her retirement in 2010.

Following retirement, Donna became a member of the Board of the New Brunswick Humane Society where her passion for cats was put to good use. She was an advocate in many municipalities where she was involved with the TNR programs for feral cats and their treatments. In her spare time, Donna loved to garden and spend time enjoying the outdoors.

Predeceased by her parents, Dominick and Mary (Fortune) Dalanni; she is survived by her husband, Theodore A. Gardner of Cranbury; her son, Bryan Hildreth of Clearwater, FL; her brothers, Dominick Dalanni of Willingboro, John Dalanni of Santa Barbara, CA, and Marc Dalanni of Burlington; her sister-in-law, Laurie Sweeney of Glenwood Springs, CO; her former husband, David Hildreth of Hopewell; and several dear nieces and nephews.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, October 31, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at A.S. Cole Son & Co. Funeral Home, 22 North Main Street, Cranbury, NJ 08512 and on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
