Marcella Baumann
<p>Marcella Baumann died peacefully on Friday, October 21, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was 90 years young. Marcella was a loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Baumann; her brother, Frank Lombardi; and sister, Helen Morris. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Gail Nelson and son-in-law, Stephen Nelson. Her grandson, Alex and granddaughter, Meredith were the loves of her life.</p><p><br></p><p>For many years, Marcella was the office manager for the Department of Psychiatry at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She was a voracious reader, lifelong learner, and faithful Catholic. Marcella was blessed to have many wonderful friends. She loved to talk and was kind and concerned about the welfare of others. In recent years, many of her fondest memories occurred at the Wayne Senior Center in Wayne, Pa. where she was an active participant.</p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends are invited to Marcella’s viewing at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, from 10:00 am to 10:45 am, with her Funeral Mass starting at 11:00 am.
