Cecelia June Hassell, affectionately known as "Susie" was born July 27, 1948, to Samual Callender and Christine Edwards in Louisville, Kentucky. She married Bobby Hassell on July 15, 1992, who was a good and honorable man. He passed on August 18, 2008. "Susie" loved Disney movies, and anything related to Christmas. She loved to read and pass on stories. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bobby.

Survivors are her children Rick Kilgore, Pam Sims, Steven Kilgore and Rachel Philips; 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
