Michele Loschiavo

April 6, 1926 – October 20, 2022

With sadness, we announce the passing of Michele Loschiavo on October 20, 2022 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of Rosa and cherished father of Angela (Tony), Joe (Aurelia), Serafina (Jerry) and Cathy (Raymond). Proud nonno of John-Paul (Jessica), Christine (Stephen), Michael (Jessica), Marco, Julia, Samantha, Gianluca, Sabrina (Eladio) and Steven and great-grandfather to Alexander, Christopher, Claire, Emily and Ethan. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Rosa, Caterina, Giuseppe, Paolo, Nazzareno and Francesco. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and their families and his many friends.

Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 2-8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bernard de Clairvaux Church (1789 Lawrence Ave. W., east of Jane St.) on Monday, October 24, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Michele will be laid to rest at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave. W.).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Michele may be made to the Canadian Sarcoma Research and Clinical Collaboration.
