Iva H. Byler (nee Hostetler), 79, of Bristolville, OH passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, October 19th, 2022 at UH-Geauga Medical Center. She was born in Middlefield, OH on August 27th, 1943 to the late Peter M. and Sarah (Gingerich) Hostetler. Iva later married William D. Byler on October 1st, 1964. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  

She will be missed by: her loving husband of 58 years, William “Bill”; children, Marvin (Jill) Byler, Raymond Byler, Sara Mae (Andrew) Miller, Alma Byler, Miriam (Steven Ray) Byler, William Jay (Leona) Byler; 18 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 2 brothers; 3 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Iva is preceded in death by: her parents and a stillborn son.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., FRIDAY, OCTOBER 21ST, 2022 AT 5253 HOFFMAN-NORTON RD., BRISTOLVILLE, OH with Bishop John Allen Detweiler. Pallbearers will be David Lincoln Zook Jr., Aaron J. Miller, Allan J. Detweiler, and Jonathan Detweiler. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service. Iva’s final resting place will be in Troyer Cemetery, West Farmington, OH.
