Paul E. Lassanske, age 73, of Hodgenville, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022, from natural causes in the presence of his sons.

He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 25, 1949, and attended Milwaukee School of Engineering, earning a bachelor’s degree.  Paul served in the US Army and loved fishing, camping and working; founding two businesses and was an active member of his churches and communities, serving on planning commissions, town boards and as a town commissioner.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Joan Lassanske and a daughter Gail.

He is survived by two sons, Tom and Michael; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.  

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 27, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Greg Alexander and Bro. Carlton Puryear officiating.  Private burial will follow in The Lexington Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
