<p>In Loving Memory of Gary W. Pryor</p><p><br></p><p>Gary Pryor, age 57, resident of Memphis, Tennessee, departed this life Tuesday evening, October 18, 2022 at Saint Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN.</p><p>Gary was born April 8, 1965 in Memphis, the son of James “Jim” Pryor and the late Katheryn “Ann” Pryor. He was employed for many years in the technology industry, was an avid outdoorsman and a huge sports fan. Gary had a strong appreciation for fast cars, loud music and overall good times with friends. The “Pryor Boys” were well known in the Southaven circuit through the 1980’s. As a graduate of Sacred Heart in Walls, MS and Bishop Byrne High School, Gary then attended Memphis State (University of Memphis) and was a brother of Lambda Chi Alpha.</p><p>Gary is survived by his wife, Angela Pryor of Memphis, TN; his father, James “Jim” Pryor (Linda) of Byhalia, MS; his two daughters, Emma Pryor of Dallas, TX; Camille Hanson (AJ) of Memphis, TN; his son, Nelson Jenkins (Braylee) of Booneville, MS; his stepdaughter Kaylee Wright; his stepson Garrett Wright; his two brothers Chuck Pryor (Linda) of Walls, MS, Mark Pryor (Brenda) of Somerville, TN; four grandchildren, Lillie Katheryn and Corrine Hanson of Memphis, TN; Gibson and Beckett Jenkins of Booneville, MS; three nieces, three nephews and countless friends.</p><p>He was preceded in death by his mother, Katheryn “Ann” Pryor, his grandparents, Walter “Pappy” and Earline “Nanny” Pryor, George “Pappaw” and Mary “Mammaw” Cowan.</p><p>A visitation will be held at 12 noon on Monday, October 24, 2022 at Redeemer Evangelical Church in Collierville, TN with official services beginning at 1PM.</p><p><br></p>Obituary
