Jack Bryan, 90, of Hudson Fl, passed away after a short illness on Sunday, October 16, 2022 after living a rich and full life. Jack was born in Brooklet Ga to Lois Bobo Bryan and Thomas Randall Bryan Jr on January 14, 1932. He attended Georgia Military School in Milledgeville GA and after graduation went to Georgia Southern College for his undergraduate degree. He graduated from the University of Georgia Pharmacy School in 1954.

While at Georgia Southern, Jack met the love of his life, Betty Claxton, and they were married on March 23, 1952. While Jack was studying for his Pharmacy degree, they started their family and were blessed with 3 children in 5 years!

Jack’s career as a pharmacist took him to many places until he opened his own retail pharmacy in Warner Robins GA in 1964 and was there until 1978. After that time, he and Betty moved to Florida going first to Seminole FL, then New Port Richey, and finally to Hudson. He enjoyed his work and retired finally at the age of 72.

Jack’s most important things in life were his family, his golf, and his UGA Bulldogs. He was involved with the Rotary Club throughout his life and was an active and faithful member of the Hudson UMC where he served as an usher for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 65 years, his brothers; James Bryan, Thomas Randall (TR) Bryan III, and Bobo Bryan. He is survived by his children Beckie Bryan MacGregor, Jack Carson Bryan Jr, and James Leslie Bryan. Other family survivors include his beloved 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Jill Bryan of Marietta GA and sister-in-law Elsie Bryan of Springhill FL. In his later years he enjoyed the companionship of Ann Heckman of Hudson FL.
