Willard "W.T." Truman Morris Jr.

<p>Willard T. Morris, Jr. left us to be with God on Saturday, October 15, 2022. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on April 11, 1947. We say "life is short" because each one of us can be here today and in the matter of a second be called to be with God. We celebrate the life of W.T. because W.T. loved life. He loved fishing; he loved NASCAR; he loved visiting on the telephone; he loved going on mission trips with his church First Baptist Church of Lithia Springs; and he loved his personal visits with his family and friends, especially his trips to Virginia, Tennessee, and Louisiana. He was a kind soul who never met a stranger.</p><p><br></p><p>W.T. was preceded in death by his Father Willard T. Morris, Sr; his Mother Era B. Shackleford; and his Stepfather Clinton T. Shackleford.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his stepmother Georgia Morris; brother Charles M Morris (Lynn); brother Tom Shackleford (Ella); brother Tony Shackleford; sister Dee Exler; brother Jack Morris; and numerous nephews and nieces plus an extended family of friends from Virginia and Tennessee to Louisiana.</p><p><br></p><p>A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 21, 2022 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home with Mr. Dan Harrison officiating.</p><p><br></p><p>The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 21st from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.</p><p><br></p><p>Bellamy Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Willard Truman Morris Jr. of Cleveland, GA. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
