Sharon’s Life Journey


     On December 6, 1954 in New Gulf, Texas a baby girl was born to Morris Roberts Sr. and Mysterious Roberts whom they named Sharon Ann Roberts. She attended public school in Van Vleck, Texas. She was a member of the class of 1974, where she was active in choir, played in the school band where her instruments of choice the piano and guitar. She later obtained her GED at The College of The Mainland.

      She confessed her life to Christ at an early age an became a member of The Church of God Prophecy under the leadership of Joe Deadrick and remained a faithful member under the leadership of her father Pastor Morris Roberts Sr. Later in life Sharon and her family moved to Texas City, becoming a member of The Church of God Prophecy, Texas City under the leadership of her mother Pastor Mysterious Roberts and brother Minister Randy Roberts, where she remained faithful until her departure. She was an active member of the choir, served as church musician, was a faithful tither and she served as the church secretary/ treasurer. 

      She met and married Albert James Ross to this union a daughter was born. Later in life she met and married Leonard Noel Farquharson to this union a son was born. God blessed Sharon with many gifts and talents.

       She was blessed with the gift of help, encouragement and song. She lived independently, cooked her favorite meals, and looked out for everyone. She was known as the sweetest, most spiritual woman, who would quote a bible verse to anyone to ease their sorrows and was a living witness of the Lord. Sharon served as a musician for many churches in Brazoria, Matagorda and Galveston County. To these congregations her brilliant smile warmth and friendly character was quite known.

Sharon transitioned to life eternal on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Jeanie Sealy Hospital in Galveston, Texas.

       She was preceeded in death by her parents and grandparents.     

She leaves to cherish her memories Children Wyvette Ross, Brandon Farquharson((Fallon), Danial Espinoza, Machel Farquharson( Tavia), Brothers; Morris Roberts Jr, Randy Robert, and Leonard Roberts; Godsons Alvin Edmonds Gregory McCardell and Carl Fischer; Grandchildren; Zaketeriece Watson, Alexis Washington, Reginald Sanders, Logan Farquharson, Great Granddaughter; Kylynn Sanders; Devoted cousins; Marsha Randall, Annie Jackson, Barbara Wilson; Special friends; Daisy Alliniece, Ella Alliniece, Paula Armstead, Anne West, Judy Wilkes, and Joanne Cade along with a host of nieces, nephews and family.
