Raymond E. “Big Ray” Buschur, Sr., 81 of West Alexandria, Ohio quietly passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at EverHeart Hospice in Greenville, Ohio. Born on February 18, 1941 in Eaton, Ohio, son of the late Edward F. & Rose E. (Britton) Buschur.
Big Ray was a retired carpenter with over 50 years of experience and had worked for the Carpenters Local Union #104 which became #136. He loved horseback riding. He loved his children his horses and his dogs.
Preceded by his son, Rodney Eric Buschur; brother, Charles M. Buschur; sisters, Rose Ann Mathis and Frances Marie White; grandson, Kurtis Buschur.
Survived by his wife of 61 years, Beverly “Bev” (Allison) Buschur; son & daughter-in-law, Raymond “Little Ray” & Peggy Buschur, Jr.; daughters & sons-in-law, Regina & Bill Simmons, Tammy & Bob Meyers, and Tonya & Dan Cisle; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, October 21, 2022 at Mound Hill Cemetery located on Camden Road across from Fort St. Clair in Eaton, Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home in Eaton, Ohio. Condolences via www.barnesfuneralhome.com
