Kelly Elizabeth Springer, age 43, of Stevens Point, WI died unexpectedly on October 12, 2022.

Kelly was born in April 1979 to Bruce Rogers and Marilynn (Chorney) Walker in Stevens Point, WI. She grew up in the area and attended Washington Elementary, P.J. Jacobs Junior High, and graduated from SPASH in 1997. Kelly graduated from UWSP School of Education in 2002.

Kelly began her career teaching physical education in Cedarburg, WI. She later taught in Kaukauna and moved back home and subbed throughout Stevens Point. Kelly expanded her formal education with a nursing degree from UW-Oshkosh and worked at St. Michael’s Hospital upon graduation in 2010.

Kelly married Danial Springer in 2004, and they built their life with daughter Natalie in the Stevens Point area, close to extended family. She enjoyed an active life style including biking, walking, and tennis, and was especially competitive at card games. She will be remembered for the calm and nurturing care she bestowed on her students and patients, family and friends, and especially to raising her daughter.

Survivors include her loving husband, Dan and amazing daughter, Natalie; mother, Marilynn (Mark) Walker; father, Bruce Rogers; in-laws, Stephen and Barbara Springer; half-brother, Josh Schoerning; half-sister, Adela Rogers; aunts and uncles- Tom Chorney, Sue Rogers, Rick Rogers, Ellen Rogers, Maurice Rogers, and Niles Rogers; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Brad Rogers; and grandparents, William and Marion Chorney and William and Jeanne Rogers, as well as an aunt and numerous uncles: Jim Chorney, Bob Rogers, Linda Rogers, Philip Rogers.

A time of visitation will be on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Boston Funeral Home. A private family service will be held with burial in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
