James Vining Pearsall

<p>Clinton – James Vining Pearsall, age 73, of Clinton, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022, at his home. James was born on July 27, 1949, in Ann Arbor, the son of Fred and Beatrice (Goulden) Pearsall. After high school, James proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1968-1972. On July 24, 1982, in Britton, he married his loving wife, Donna Marie Schmidt, and she survives. He retired from the Dana Corporation in Minnesota and was currently employed with Tecumseh Public Schools as a Custodian. James was a member of the Clinton American Legion Post 176. He enjoyed war time history and documentaries and watching Michigan Football. Most of all, James loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his wife of 40 years, Donna, James is survived by his two children, Robert (Cayla) Pearsall of Onsted and Emily (Brandon) White of Tecumseh; four grandchildren, Eva and Ronald White and Henry and William Pearsall; two brothers, William (Linda) Pearsall of Chelsea and Jerry Pearsall of Dexter; and half-siblings, Brian Hall of Milan, Allen Hall, and Luella Davis of Swartz Creek, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Fred Edward Pearsall; and half-brother, Dale Hall.</p><p><br></p><p>A memorial gathering for James will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022, from 4-7 p.m. at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Tecumseh.</p><p><br></p><p>You may send condolences to the family at www.andersonfuneralservices.com Memorial contributions may be made to the Clinton American Legion Post 176 or to the Ronald McDonald House.
