<p>Letha Barnes daughter of Ralph and Minnie Steverson was born December 16, 1944 in Talbot County Georgia,</p><p><br></p><p>She transitioned from her lovely life on Thursday night October 6, 2022 at her home in the presence of family.</p><p><br></p><p>She attended Ruth Carter High School in Talbotton, Ga.</p><p><br></p><p>Letha was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Mr. James Lucas Barnes, on December 19th 1964 and two daughters were born to this union.</p><p><br></p><p>She was employed at Goody’s Product in Manchester, GA for 35 years, until she retired. Letha became a member of Flint River Baptist Church at a very young age.</p><p><br></p><p>Letha was proceded in death by her husband, James Barnes her mother and father Ralph and Minnie Steverson, her sisters Minnie Kate Thornton, Legertha Hart, and a brother: Ralph Steverson Jr.</p><p><br></p><p>She leaves to cherish a loving brother Robert Guss Steverson of LaGrange, GA. Two daughters: Wendy Barnes of Shiloh, GA. and Tessie Barnes of Woodland, GA. Two granddaughters: Soraya Chaney (Octavius Chaney) of Thomaston, GA. Arielle Gamble of Shiloh, GA. Two grandson: Antwan Carter of Columbus, GA.</p><p>Jiquavius Barnes of Woodland, GA. Five great-grandchildren: Zaria Gamble, Milaysia Copeland, Zy’Tavius Chaney, Ke’aire Williams and Jairus Harris. Two sisters-in-law: Hattie Pearl Barnes and Dorothy Willis. She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>

Letha Barnes daughter of Ralph and Minnie Steverson was born December 16, 1944 in Talbot County Georgia,


She transitioned from her lovely life on Thursday night October 6, 2022 at her home in the presence of family.


She attended Ruth Carter High School in Talbotton, Ga.


Letha was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Mr. James Lucas Barnes, on December 19th 1964 and two daughters were born to this union.
