Johnny Dock Hodge, 75, of Mesquite, Texas passed away October 1, 2022.

Johnny was born on November 8, 1946 to Louie K. Hodge and L.Z. Guyton in Clarksville, Texas. He was known to be a hard worker and enjoyed spending time with his family, watching his favorite shows and attending sporting events for his grandchildren.

He is survived by daughter Natasha Brown, three sons; Donivan Hodge, Adrian Hodge, Samuel Redman, two brothers Carl Hodge, Don Parrish, four sisters; Shirley Horton, Georgia Allen, Ada Hester, Jodi Porter, eight grandchildren; Bryce Hodge, Alex Hodge, Mali Hodge (Lewis), Coroline Hodge, Brandon Brown, Krishawn Brown, Issac Bolden, Dominic Packer, four great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Avalos-Sanchez & Thomas Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Pentecostal with Bishop Barak Stanford officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
