David Summers, age 71, of Sunrise, Fl passed away on September 25,2022. David was born November 24,1950 in Brooklyn, NY.

He leaves behind his brother Robert Sanchez and sister Elaine Masson and their respective spouses. Affectionately called Boy, he also leaves behind 13 nieces and nephews, a grandniece, and grandnephew who loved him dearly.

David enlisted at 17 years of age in the United States Air Force upon graduation from high school, during the Vietnam war. He was stationed in Okinawa, Japan, and served our nation honorably.
Upon his return as a civilian he worked for his brother-in-law Curt at Vibrant Studios in NYC. He moved back upstate with his parents and worked at Union Carbide. He later worked and retired from Sears Roebuck in appliance repairs which led to his own washer/dryer, commercial & residential, coin-operated leasing business. He was nicknamed “Doctor Washer” by his clients and would donate soap to families he saw in need. David was not only a brother & uncle to his family, but to all who knew him. He was a friend, a confidant, & that uniquely special individual who made everyone feel as if they were a part of his team. Until we are all reunited in Heaven, he will be truly & deeply missed.
