Carolyn B. Ramsey, 73, of N. Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord October 7, 2022. She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Ramsey and her parents, Virgil and Jean Boone. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Larry Ramsey; son, Scott Ramsey; daughter-in-law, Tiffany Ramsey; grandchildren, Skylar, Ryan, David, Tristan, Isabella Ramsey. Her grandchildren were the love of her life. She was a retired pre-school teacher at Redeemer Lutheran Pre-School. Carolyn enjoyed volunteering with the Richmond Animal League. Before her Parkinson’s diagnosis she was an active member of St. Marks United Methodist Church. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother who will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends 11am to noon Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Bennett and Barden Funeral Home, Powhatan, VA, with her memorial service following at noon. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Richmond Animal League, www.RAL.org.
