McKinley, Carolyn Joan (nee Eyre) –

Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Tuesday October 4, 2022 at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood, at the age of 84. Survived by her children Andrea McKinley and Steve (Lesley) McKinley. Predeceased by her parents George and Helena Eyre (nee Kearsley) and her brother Ron Eyre. Carolyn was born and raised in Toronto. A single mother, she raised her young family in Thornhill. After retirement, she moved to British Columbia for 20 years and then returned to the area and has called Wasaga Beach home. A special thank you to the wonderful staff of the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital. At Carolyn’s request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, a donation in her memory may be made to the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation.
