Joe Franklin Miller

Mr. Joe Miller of Rowland was born November 22, 1946 to the late James Baylock Miller and Ethel Tyler Miller, he passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones completing his journey of 75 years.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a wife: Diane Little Miller and a brother: James Earl Miller.

Mr. Miller was an active member of Elrod Baptist Church were he thoroughly loved his church family. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Joe retired from Pilkington (LOF) after 30 years of commitment.

Joe leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Judy Miller of the home; two children: Deane Miller of Rowland and Aaron Miller of Lumberton; three step-children: Lawrence Seals (Nina); Bobby Seals (Melissa) and John Seals (April) all of Pembroke; two sisters: Peggy Miller Mercer (Lloyd) and Ruby Miller Cooper both of Lumberton; ten grandchildren: Donavan, Logan, Jonathan, Bobby Rylan , McKinley, Mallory, Lucas, Alayna, Jayden and Dylan; a special nephew: Josh Miller; two nieces: Debra and Cyndie (Brad); three nephews: Tommy (Melissa), Jamie (Amy) and Tim; a very special sister-in-law: Cattie Lowery; his fur babies two dogs: Libby and Zeus; one cat: Halloween as well as other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Boles Funeral Home Chapel in Rowland, Burial will follow in the Rowland Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Boles Funeral Home Chapel in Rowland
