Age 36, of South St. Paul
Died October 3, 2022
God blessed our family with the greatest of gifts.
Phil, from the day he was born, lived a life as a witness to Christ. Phil never spoke a word yet taught us so much. He was always and forever patient and grateful for everything given him or done for him. He was humble in mind and spirit, kind, gracious, sensitive, and caring. He was perpetually positive, open to everything and everyone. Never once did he complain or not endure the crosses he was asked to carry. A line from his favorite song says, “I’m learning to fly but I ain’t got wings, coming down is the hardest thing.” Phil has always had wings. God gave him to us that we may find ours. We know in our hearts that he is at peace with our Lord, aloft in Heaven where he will never have to come down again.
Phillip was preceded in death by grand parents Randy and Jackie Patet and Edward Zappa and uncle, Kent Patet. He is survived by his parents G. Rankin and Janelle, twin brother Sam, brother Ryan (Bailey) sister Paige (Evan) Beacom and grandmother, Patricia Zappa. Also survived by nieces and nephews, George, Oliver, Leo, Renee, John, Elizabeth and Annie.
